Wellbeing from food
The roots of Apetit go back to 1950, when operations began in Säkylä under the name Länsi-Suomen Sokeritehdas. In line with our vision, we seek plant-based growth. Apetit aims to be a pioneer and market leader in plant-based eating.
For us, plant-based food is a part of delicious everyday life. We manufacture and develop tasty frozen vegetables and frozen foods as well as oilseed products at our factories in Finland and Sweden.
Apetit builds its operations on domestic raw materials and close cooperation with farmers. We develop cultivation methods in collaboration with primary production partners. Developing the food value chain is an integral part of our strategy.

We are strongly committed to primary production. Together with our contract farmers, we develop cultivation methods that support a sustainable farming ecosystem to ensure the availability of high-quality vegetables and other plant-based raw materials also in the future.
