Pudasjärvi frozen pizza factory

Apetit’s frozen pizzas are produced in Pudasjärvi with the uncompromising attitude and approach characteristic of Northern Ostrobothnia – with a strong focus on high-quality ingredients. The pizzas use as many Finnish-origin ingredients as possible. The Pudasjärvi pizza factory was completed in 1991, and its roots lie in the production of flatbread and squeaky cheese. The frozen pizza factory has been part of Apetit since 1998.

Investment in Finnish frozen pizza

In 2022, Apetit invested approximately EUR 2 million in a new frozen pizza production line at the Pudasjärvi factory. As a result of the investment, the frozen pizza range underwent significant improvements in taste and texture.
