Students and Educational Cooperation

Our goal is to be a leader in vegetable-based food solutions. The rapidly developing food industry offers a wide range of jobs and research topics for future food professionals.

Course topics and thesis subjects

Apetit engages in project- and course-based cooperation with educational institutions, primarily with vocational institutions and higher education institutions in the food sector and in business studies. We collaborate with educational institutions when looking for students interested in completing a thesis, for example. In addition to a company-based topic, we provide high-quality guidance for your work and an opportunity to contribute to the development of our operations already during your studies.

Visits

We also offer, where possible, student groups the opportunity to visit our different locations to get to know Apetit, the food industry and career opportunities in the field. If you are interested in arranging a visit, for example for your student association, you can contact us using the contact form at the bottom of the Contact details page. Please provide more details about your visit idea in the form so that we can plan an interesting event together.

Summer jobs and internships

Each year, we hire summer interns for the holiday season across the Group’s different business areas and locations, as needed. Opportunities are available throughout the entire value chain, from field to fork – from the Räpi experimental farm to production and consumer marketing. Summer jobs and internships are advertised annually at the beginning of the year. Positions are located at our production facilities in Säkylä, Kirkkonummi and Pudasjärvi. Interns work, for example, in procurement, cultivation development, quality, marketing and digital marketing, as well as production planning.
