Apetit is a Finnish food industry company specialised in plant-based food, serving consumers, retail, Food Service customers, as well as the food and feed industries. The company produces food solutions primarily based on plant-based raw materials, processes vegetable oils and rapeseed expeller, and operates actively in domestic and international oilseed and feed raw material markets.

Food solutions

Apetitin Ruokaratkaisut-liiketoiminta sisältää kasvis- ja ruokapakasteet sekä pakastepizzat. Kasvis- ja ruokapakasteet valmistetaan Säkylän ja Bjuvin tehtailla, pakastepizzat Pudasjärvellä. Apetit-brändillä valmistettujen tuotteiden lisäksi Apetit valmistaa kaupan omia merkkejä. Kasvis- ja ruokapakasteiden pääasiallisia markkina-alueita ovat Suomi ja Ruotsi, mutta tuotteita viedään myös esimerkiksi Italiaan. Asiakaskunta koostuu vähittäiskaupan, Food service -sektorin sekä elintarviketeollisuuden asiakkaista.

Apetit’s Food Solutions business includes Apetit’s frozen vegetables, frozen foods and frozen pizzas. Frozen vegetables and frozen foods are produced in Säkylä and in Bjuv and frozen pizzas in Pudasjärvi. In addition to products under Apetit brand, Apetit manufactures products for private labels. The main markets for frozen vegetables and frozen foods are Finland and Sweden but
products are also exported to Italy, for example. The customer base consists of customers in retail trade, the Food Service sector and the food industry.

Oilseed products

Apetit’s Oilseed Products business includes rapeseed oils, rapeseed expeller and BlackGrain rapeseed powder. Rapeseed oils and expeller are produced in Apetit’s vegetable oil milling plant in Kirkkonummi. The main markets for oilseed products are Finland and the other Nordic countries. The best-known consumer products are Apetit and Neito rapeseed oils. Oilseed Products’ customers include retail trade, the Food Service sector, the food industry and the animal feed industry, which uses rapeseed expeller.
